Over 3 hands-on sessions with Krista, Brooklyn-based interior designer and design strategist, you'll be guided to create an impactful + inspiring space that supports your most aspirational goals for your home or business. You'll be guided through each step of the process, from the big-picture vision all the way down to picking out colors and materials you can actually touch. By the end, you'll have a beautiful plan for your space and the confidence and tools to keep designing your world long after the course ends. – Class 1: Visioning + Concept Ideation • Find your “why” + understand your motivation for change • Define the true purpose of your space • Enjoy a guided visioning exercise to unlock your aspirational lifestyle or business goals • Review imagery that evokes your desired look + feel • Begin to create your own unique design story Class 2: Programming + Space Planning • Identify the physical requirements for your space: storage, work styles, activities, etc. • Define zones of activity – individual vs. collaborative / public vs. private • Create a layout that best supports you or your business • Find ways to align your vision to your 3D reality Class 3: Color + Materials • Create a color palette based on your unique design concept • Curate your own finish palette - select from physical material samples (wood, fabrics, tile, etc.) to create your own finish board
